An 18 years old daughter has been charged with 2nd degree murder in Ottawa after her mother was reported as missing.
Susan Kublu-Iqqittuq, 37, was last seen on Jan, 11 by her family.
Ottawa police have been looking for the public assistance in finding Susan Kublu-Iqqittuq, also, a video has been released of the woman walking on Jan. 10 near Elgin Street and Laurier Avenue, it was a day before Susan disappeared.
Lennese Kublu, Susan Kublu’s, 18 years old daughter has been charged with 2nd degree murder and indignity to a human body in relation to the death of her mother.
The family confirmed with CBC News that Lennese Kublu is the daughter of Susan Kublu who was reported missing.
Ottawa police is using the word “Kublu” for both of these women, who originally came from Nunavut. According to the police, their major crime unit is doing investigating.
Searching for landfill
Police said on Saturday afternoon that they believe that Kublu-Iqqittuq is dead as a body has not been found yet.
Police said that they are searching for the Trail Road landfill in southwest Ottawa.
Marie-Josée Lafleur, Kublu’s lawyer, who works in Nunavut, said that while this homicide charge is in Ottawa.
Lafleur said that this is a serious problem that they think needs to be the only that Canadian population should be aware of and they need to address this.
