Facebook was not running properly across Canada and United States
If you are facing trouble in logging onto Facebook since Monday, you aren’t alone. The social media giant Facebook was not running properly across Canada and the United States.
On an outage map of Facebook, it appeared that this social media network wasn’t working in the parts of Montreal, Toronto and parts of East Coast in Canada. Major United States cities like Miami, New York, and Boston, too cited problems.
There were some parts of Europe, Brazil, and Mexico who were facing these same problems.
Users used Twitter, another social media to report this outage, with #FacebookDown, which is trending quickly.
Around 1:40 p.m. as per local time there was a huge count of people who reported that Facebook was working again.
Facebook said in its official statement that this outage happened due to a “routine test”.
Facebook also said that the earlier today, a routine test lead the users to face this problem in posting and accessing to the Facebook services including Instagram and WhatsApp. Facebook also apologized for this inconvenience.
