Dauphin is a beautiful city with places to visit in Dauphin, which is located in the province of Manitoba, Canada. It is situated along the Vermilion River in Manitoba. It is a wonderful & very alluring city with many famous tourist places which makes Dauphin a very famous tourist destination in Canada.

The population of Dauphin according to the data collected from the January 2022 Census shows an increase to population of 13,90,000 approx.

1. Rainbow Beach Provincial Park:- It is one of the best places to visit in Manitoba. It is located on the south shore of Lake Dauphin, the Rainbow Beach Provincial Park is great for swimming, sunbathing, RV camping, hiking, boating, and many more.

The beach area is very superficial and is great for kids. There are also several playgrounds and a concession stand.You need to purchase a permit to use the park at this beach. A day parking pass cost us around $10 approx.

2. Fort Dauphin Museum:- It is yet another good place to visit in Manitoba. This museum is a recreation of a trading post used by fur traders & reminiscent of early settlements in the area.

You will also notice a trapper’s cabin, log house, schoolhouse, church, blacksmith’s shop, and thousands of artifacts at the Parkland Archaeological Laboratory, including fossils. Admitting fees is $4 – $5 for adults and $2 – $3 for younger ones & free entry for kids ( if accompanied by an adult ).

3. Vermillion Park:- This park is located in the heart of the city and includes a beautiful lake, paddle boats, walking paths, picnic areas, fire pit rentals and a playground. This park includes hiking and biking trails, a playground in Countryfest – This is a popular annual music festival that attracts visitors from all over.

It features some of the biggest names in country music, with multiple stages and events. It is a great place for a walk, picnic, or just relax and enjoy the scenery. The park also features a splash park for kids.

4. Watson Art Centre:- It was built in 1906 & is located right across from the Canadian Northern Railway building. This heritage building houses an art gallery, theater, and community meeting spaces. It showcases local and regional artists and hosts a variety of cultural events.

This center is a hub for local artists and features a gallery, gift shop, and workshops, enjoy a picnic, or play a game of disc golf. This art center hosts a variety of cultural events and exhibits throughout the year, including music, and visual arts.

5. Riding Mountain National Park:- This park is located just outside of Dauphin, this park offers stunning scenery and a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, kayaking, and wildlife viewing.

6. Dauphin lake:- Dauphin lake is a large lake in Manitoba with a measurement over 200 square kilometers. This large lake is a popular destination for fishing, boating, swimming, canoeing, water skiing, windsurfing and camping.
